Community Arts NOS

Between September and December 2007 Creative & Cultural Skills developed National Occupational Standards (NOS) to support Level 2 and Level 3 roles relating to Community Arts.

In order to create credible NOS, we listened to industry’s advice and guidance. In addition to our working group consultation we ran an online survey asking you as industry experts to tell us what to discard, what to keep, what to change and what to add.

Thanks to those of you who took part in the survey, our Industry Working Group members and our Industry Champion, Sean Williams (Director, The Council for Dance Education and Training), the Community Arts NOS have been approved and are available for download here.

The Survey

These NOS will be periodically reviewed to ensure they are correct and up to date. If you wish to take the survey your comments will be incorporated into these reviews. Please note you will need to complete this survey in one sitting, it should take you around 15 minutes.
